Twitter Video Now Available!

Twitter Video is launching. This means video content can be promoted on the platform with a seamless video experience, across desktop and mobile.

How are Ads purchased?
Ads are purchased on a CPV (Cost-Per-View) basis

What video metrics can be reported?
Video metrics include VTR (View-Through-Rate)  at 25,50,75 and100%. You will be able to report across organic and paid tweets.

What markets is Twitter Video available in?
Twitter Video BETAs are available in all markets.

What is the minimum spend?
There is none. However, promoted Twitter activity requires a $5k per month minimum spend (for account managed accounts).

What is the minimum and maximum video durations?
There is no minimum duration. Maximum duration is 10 minutes, but it is highly advised that videos should be shorter and snackable to be in line with Twitter’s user browsing behavior – you will also achieve a higher completion rate.

What constitutes a video view? When do we spend?
A video view is recorded from when the first frame of the video loads – this is where the spend is triggered.

Can we target users in the same way on Twitter?
Yes, you can target users with the same targeting parameters for promoted tweets.

Can brands still promote YouTube videos in tweets?
Yes this is still be possible, but some 3rd party video players can take up to 3 clicks to play.
